Rosary House Community
Washington DC
The Community was established in 1956 as a Residence for Sisters from different provinces who came to study in the United States. Years later, this possibility was also opened to other young university students. However, in addition to having the residence for students, since its inception the Sisters have always carried out their apostolate with people arriving as immigrants to the United States.
At present, the community's mission is carried out in two areas:
- Welcoming Sisters who come to Washington to do some study or live some formation experience.
- Supporting Hispanic and immigrant ministry in the Archdiocese of Washington. Through the coordination of the parish ministry, we provide spiritual accompaniment and follow-up to the formation processes of the different ministries of the parish to respond to the needs of the families that are part of the community.
