In the first intuition described in the Constitutions of the Congregation, it is clearly expressed that Marie Poussepin proposed to establish with some local girls, a “Community of the Third Order of St. Dominic for the benefit of the parish, to instruct the youth and to serve the sick poor”. Faithful to this origin, the local community prioritizes in its missionary dimension, without neglecting the attention to the sick and the education of the little ones, the insertion to the Parish of Our Lady of Sorrows, to whose territory we belong. Our parish contribution ranges from the simple presence in the daily Eucharist, closeness to the faithful and support in parish activities to the coordination of committees, training and support to area coordinators in order to walk towards a synodal style of Church proposed in recent writings of Pope Francis.
