Dighton Community

Our Community is foremost a sacred place. Our life is centered in the Eucharist and we try to live this in all of our daily actions and interactions. We share the Word in Scripture, have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and put emphasis on our personal and Community prayer.

Seeing that our life is centered in the Eucharist, our relationship with God, our life with each other flows from this. We care for one another and help one another as needed.

An intercessory prayer book is placed on the altar at the time of Evening Prayer. We bring these intentions and the needs of all the world to our prayer.

An important aspect of our mission is hospitality. We welcome the laity who participate in the celebration of the Eucharist with us. We are also open to groups who ask to use our facility for their meetings, days of prayer and retreats. We welcome the laity of our Associate program for their meetings and time of prayer.
