Training-Novitiate Community

portrait

The formation-novitiate community, located in Cuautitlán, State of Mexico, since 1985, is composed of 3 perpetually professed sisters and 2 novices.

Our mission is to accompany the novices in the process of discerning the will of God, affirming their vocation through prayer, study, contemplation and fraternal community life, deepening their knowledge and experience of Jesus Christ, knowing and deepening the Dominican spirituality and that of our congregation, committing themselves to live the charism of our foundress Marie Poussepin.

Formation also involves entering into the mission of the congregation, so the community experiences help them to get to know the foundational charism in its two orientations: Health and education in its various expressions.

The novices participate in parish catechesis, accompany the sister in charge of advising the Presentation laity and collaborate in the Holy Week missions.

One sister works full time at the Anahuac School, providing education in the faith.

We wish to live fully our consecration in the service of the Lord with joy and generous dedication.

With Mary in her Presentation, she is for us a model of fidelity and gift.
